• Role (pharmacy, hospital, wholesaler)
• Location (country, city)
• Contact details (phone number)
• Business address (for wholesalers)

For patients using public search, we do not require an account and do not collect personal data beyond standard server logs.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the MedSoko service
• To enable communication between buyers and pharmacies/wholesalers
• To show pharmacy listings to patients (where the pharmacy has opted in)
• To send account-related emails (verification, password reset, order updates)
• To improve the platform

3. Public visibility

Pharmacies that mark a retail listing as public consent to having the following shown publicly: business name, city, phone number, and the listed medicine details (name, price, stock status). Pharmacies can hide a listing at any time.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only:

• Between buyers and wholesalers/pharmacies for active orders
• With service providers (Supabase for hosting, email providers for transactional email)
• When required by law

5. Data security

We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure password hashing.

6. Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your account at any time from your account settings. To request a full data export or deletion, email us.

7. Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (so you stay logged in) and for storing your shopping cart locally. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by email or via a notice on the site.
